Coins made after 1946 are made from copper & nickel, because of the content its possible to get a black mark around your finger or if your allergic to nickel you may get a rash, we recommend to stop wearing it if you come out with a rash, we do seal the rings with jewellers seal to prevent this but they may require sealed at a later date, clear nail varnish is a good substitute.
Shillings dated 1937 onwards will not show the date on the finished coin ring as the design was changed.
