This week i have been thinking a lot about what inspires other people to do what they do, be it art, activities, hobbies or just who they are as a person, inspiration is around us all the time in everything we do ...so what is it that inspires you ?
For myself i find inspiration in all kinds of things, from being in the hills or along the beautiful coast of my homeland Northumberland. Our vast amount of local history makes it easy to see inspiration everywhere i look, a boat ride out to the secluded land of the Farne Islands, a walk through the stunning castles that dot along our coast line or further inland the breathtaking views from the top of the Cheviot hills, but most importantly i take inspiration from all of you, the people i meet, what makes them thrive, their interests, their hobbies, it all inspires me to make something so personal and sentimental it brings happiness and joy to every receiver of my art.
